Classes

Workshops Designed Just for You:
• Never turned wood before and want to give it a try. • Just getting started and need help getting to the next level. • Been turning for a while, but really want to hone those woodturning skills. • Want to learn more about finding the piece hiding in that burl or hunk of tree? • Do you need to work on sharpening your tools? • Is your problem Line and Design?
If any of these fit you, I can design a class that will suit you needs. Most classes center around the bowl, but I can focus on any area of woodturning including spindles and hollow forms.
Classes will be taught in my shop just outside of Seneca, South Carolina. The shop is “climate” controlled for everyone’s comfort. Class size will be limited to 4. Lathes include a Oneway 2436, Powermatic 3620, and several Delta Minis. Cost will be determined by the number of students in the class.
I teach with tremendous energy, a unique sense of humor, and a passion for turning wood. Contact me at wc@woodbywarren.com and together we will put a class together to meet your needs.

We will talk about safety, sharpening, drying, twice turning, finishing, and line and design. We will begin the week working with green wood and work our way into turning dried wood into finished bowls.
